Set Up the RAM Job Management Mobile App

The RAM Job Management mobile app allows your team to view and complete jobs, access customer information and update job progress while working in the field.

Before getting started, make sure you've already created a team member on the web dashboard and enabled mobile app access for that user.

Step 1: Set Up a Team Member

From the web dashboard, go to Settings > Manage Team and create a new team member, or edit an existing one.

Enable Mobile App Access

Open the user's Access Settings and ensure Mobile App Access is set to Yes.

You can also configure the user's permissions to control what they can view and do within the app.

Configure Mobile App Sync

Choose how many days in advance jobs should be synced to the user's device.

We recommend setting this to a couple of days so upcoming jobs remain available, even when working without an internet connection.

Enable Job Notifications

Under Email Notifications, we recommend enabling notifications for assigned jobs so users are alerted when new work is allocated to them.

When you're finished, click Save.

Step 2: Activate the User Account

The team member will receive an email inviting them to activate their account.

They'll need to:

  • Confirm their account.

  • Create a password containing:

    • An uppercase letter.

    • A lowercase letter.

    • A number.

    • A symbol.

Once their account has been activated, they can download the RAM Job Management mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.

Step 3: Sign In to the Mobile App

Open the app and sign in using the email address and password created during account activation.

Create a PIN

On first login, the app will prompt the user to create a secure four-digit PIN for faster future logins.

Complete the Initial Sync

Tap Sync when prompted.

The first sync may take a little longer as the app downloads all required data. Once complete, the user is ready to start using the app.

Step 4: Use the Mobile App

After signing in, users can:

  • View scheduled and unscheduled jobs.

  • Create jobs (if they have permission).

  • Access customer information.

  • Sync updates with the web dashboard.

  • Access additional menu options based on their permissions.

Important

The RAM Job Management mobile app stores data locally on the device.

To avoid data being overwritten, each user should only sign in on one mobile device using their account.
