This article covers the following topics:
Vehicles on the map
The location of each vehicle (or driver in a vehicle) in your fleet should be visible on the map, with an icon showing the current status of each.
If you do not see all your vehicles, check that you have selected Zoom to All in top right of the portal. If you still do not see all your vehicles, contact support.
Zoom to All
If you have zoomed in or out on the map, you may not be able to see your entire fleet at once. Use Zoom to All to show your entire fleet immediately on the map.
Just select "Map Control" and then "Zoom to All" and it will zoom to a point you can see all of your vehicles.
Street View
The Street View icon is found at the bottom right of the map. Use it to see a Google street view image of a particular street.
To use Street View, select and drag the orange man to the location that you would like to view. Your map will change to a photographic image.
Note: To close Street View, use the arrow in the top left of the Street View window.
Not all streets have Street View available. Drag the street view 'orange man' icon over the map - if you see a blue dot or coloured road, Street View is available.
Map Type
There are two choices for your map view.
Default: This is the standard map view, with a mix of physical and political features - geographical features, roads, and buildings.
Satellite view: Gives a much more detailed view of the map, with a full satellite image. This is not a live image.
Traffic
Available in all major cities and most surrounding areas, powered by Google Maps. Traffic shows you live information about the traffic situation on the roads, using different colours.
Green: Normal traffic.
Orange: Slow moving.
Red: Heavy traffic.
Vehicle Clustering
Vehicles which are close to each other on the map will be grouped together under one icon. As you zoom in or out, the clusters will converge and disperse.
If you click on a cluster it will break the cluster into smaller clusters, or into the individual vehicles that it is made of, depending on its size.
By clicking into "Map Control" you can "Set Clustering Minimum Zoom" so clustering happens when you are zoomed out (slider to the left) or closer in (slider to the right).
