Once you have logged in to the desktop RAM assist page (ramassist.com):

For creating checklist:

  1. Click on Vehicle Checks on the top menu.

  2. Select 'Create New Checklist'.

  3. The section directly underneath the create new checklist will open with giving the new checklist a name in the 'Name Your Checklist' Box.

  4. the section will then ask you for your first checklist point 'Add Checklist Fields'.

  5. Subsequent ones can be added based on what you required and will populate on the right in the phone area image.

  6. This is where you can see the checklist points you have created build up.

  7. Once you have created all the checklist points then you can click on ' Save as Preset'.

For assigning a checklist to a vehicle:

  1. Click on the 'Assign Checklists' button.

  2. Select the relevant checklist for the vehicle from the drop down.

If you have a large number of vehicles you can press the CTRL & F to bring up a search box and start to type the name of the vehicle to scroll quickly to it.

For Managing the Checklists:

  1. Click on 'Manage Checklist'.

  2. Select the checklist you would like to amend (either standard or custom here).

  3. The toggles can be on (orange shown here) or off (in grey)

  4. You can still edit these if you wish to amend the specific checklist point too.

  5. Save once completed.

Note that individual vehicles cannot be specified here so if ,certain vehicles need extra/less points applied you are best creating a customised list for them and then put then in that amended daily checklist.

For Creating Alerts for Vehicle Check Omissions:

once you have click on the exception Alerts tab at the top (highlighted in blue in the middle):

  1. Click on 'Create New Rule'

  2. Give the rule a name.

  3. Create a time and frequency

  4. choose how you wish to receive the alerts (email/SMS/both)

  5. Click 'Save As Rule'

You should be able to see all the alert details created populate on the right hand side.
