Recommended Alert Types
Power Loss Alerts
These are essential for security monitoring. A power loss alert can indicate that the tracker has lost connection from the vehicle's battery, which might mean someone is tampering with your vehicle or there's a technical issue.
Impact Detected Alerts
These alerts serve a dual purpose. An impact detection could mean your vehicle has been in a collision and needs immediate attention. Alternatively, it might indicate that someone is trying to remove or tamper with the tracker.
Both of these alert types help protect your fleet and give you peace of mind.
Configuring Alert Settings
When to Activate
Most alerts should run continuously; select the 24/7 option to ensure you're always protected. However, you can customise the timing if needed for specific business requirements.
Email Recipients
Enter the email addresses that should receive these alerts. If you want multiple people to be notified, separate each email address with a semicolon, then type the next email.
Saving Your Settings
Click Save to activate your alert. You can create as many different alerts as you need for each vehicle.
Why Event Alerts Matter
Event alerts give you immediate awareness of problems that need urgent attention. Instead of discovering issues hours or days later, you'll know within minutes when something happens to your vehicles. This rapid response capability can help prevent theft, reduce damage, and improve overall fleet security.
The system monitors your vehicles continuously, so you don't have to. When configured properly, event alerts act as your early warning system for anything that could affect your fleet's safety or security.
