The Geofences feature helps you track vehicle movement in and out of specific areas.
Watch the video below as Jamie shows you how to create and manage them.
Viewing Your Geofences
Click Geofences on the left-hand menu to open the Geofences page.
You’ll see:
A map showing all your geofences.
A list of existing geofences in your system.
You can filter the list by category and edit any geofence by clicking on it.
Creating a New Geofence
To create a new geofence:
Click Add Geofence.
Give your geofence a name (for example, Park Example).
Choose a category and colour.
Click Create Geofence Shape.
Click on the map to draw the area you want to cover.
You can make the geofence as large or small as needed.
It’s best to make it slightly larger to ensure vehicles are detected as they enter or exit.
Once you’re happy with the shape, click Create.
Your new geofence will appear in your list and on the map.
Setting Up Geofence Alerts
You can be notified whenever a vehicle enters or exits a geofence.
To create an alert:
Go to Alerts → Geofence Alerts.
Choose which drivers and days to monitor (for example, weekends).
Set the time range e.g. from midnight to 11:59 p.m. covers the full day.
Select the geofence name (e.g. Park Example).
Choose whether to be alerted when vehicles enter, exit, or both.
Select which users should receive the notification.
Click Create to save your alert.
