Learn how to view detailed vehicle activity, including journeys, speed, location, geofences, and congestion zones. This video also shows how to analyse route replays and individual journeys on the map.

Viewing Vehicle Activity and Route Replays

The Vehicle View gives a detailed breakdown of each vehicle’s activity.

Accessing Vehicle Details

You can open the Vehicle View by:

  • Clicking the View button in the Assets menu.

  • Selecting a vehicle on the Live Map.

Here you’ll see:

  • Whether the vehicle is on a journey or parked.

  • Last signal received from the tracker.

  • Coordinates, speed, and direction.

  • Assigned group.

  • Whether the vehicle is inside a geofence or congestion zone.

  • Full address breakdown of the current location.

You’ll also see details about the asset itself, including:

  • Alias and registration number.

  • DVLA-recorded vehicle info.

  • Tracking unit details.

  • Driver assigned to the vehicle.


Analysing Vehicle Activity

The middle section allows you to analyse vehicle activity for a specific day.
Click Route Replay to view:

  • A full day’s activity from midnight to midnight.

  • Status for each moment: driving, stationary, or parked.

You can also scroll down for an event-by-event breakdown:

  • Signals received.

  • Travel locations and addresses.

  • Detailed information per journey.

To view a single journey, select the date and journey.
The journey will be plotted on the map for visual analysis.
