Job Assist allows you to create digital job sheets and send them directly to your drivers through the RAM Assist app.
Your drivers can then complete and sign off these jobs whilst on site, streamlining your workflow and improving accountability.
To access Job Assist, look for the Job Management button at the top of your dashboard.
Creating Your First Job Template
Before you can send jobs to drivers, you'll need to set up custom templates that define what information you need from each job.
Step 1: Set Up Template Fields
Navigate to Template Fields to create the building blocks of your job sheets. Here you can create different types of fields:
Dropdown Fields - Perfect for multiple choice questions, e.g. "Are any additional works required?" with Yes/No options
Text Fields - For short responses, e.g. "What time did you arrive?"
Text Area Fields - For longer descriptions
Signature Fields - To capture customer or driver signatures, e.g. Customer approval signatures
Photo Fields - For visual documentation
File Upload Fields - For attaching reference documents
Step 2: Create Your Custom Template
Once your fields are ready, go to Create Custom Template:
Name your template - Choose something descriptive for easy identification
Enable address book (optional) - This allows you to select customers from a dropdown menu
Design your job structure by dragging fields into two categories:
Job Details Section
This contains information you provide to the driver at the start of the job, such as:
Reference documents or diagrams
Specific instructions
Customer contact details
Job Sheet Section
This contains fields the driver must complete to finish the job, such as:
Completion confirmations
Customer signatures
Photos of finished work
Time logging
Step 3: Configure Field Requirements
For each field you add, you can choose whether it's:
Mandatory - Must be completed before the job can be submitted
Optional - Can be left blank if not applicable
Making critical fields mandatory ensures your drivers capture all essential information before marking jobs as complete.
Step 4: Save Your Template
Once you've arranged all your fields and set their requirements, save your template. It will then appear in your list of available templates when creating new job sheets for your drivers.
What Happens Next?
With your templates ready, you can start creating and assigning job sheets to drivers. They'll receive these through the RAM Assist app and can complete them digitally whilst on site. All information then syncs back to your dashboard automatically.
