Sales Tax FAQ

Answers to common questions about how sales tax is applied to your RAM Tracking purchases and subscriptions.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Services sold by RAM Tracking may be subject to certain local taxes depending on your location.

General Information

RAM Tracking is required to assess applicable taxes as required by local laws. Depending on your company address, services sold by RAM Tracking may be subject to tax.

The Basics

  • Company address determines tax rate: We use the physical address of the company purchasing RAM Tracking services to calculate any applicable taxes. This may be different from your billing address.

  • Prices exclude tax: Prices shown on our website do not include tax.

  • Updating your address: Billing contacts or individuals with appropriate access can review and update your company address by contacting our support team.

Value-Added Tax (VAT)

As a UK business, RAM Tracking is required to charge VAT (Value-added Tax) to UK customers on every invoice we issue for our services.

Depending on your country's tax legislation, you may be able to claim back VAT expenses at the end of the year. We recommend consulting with your accountant to understand if this applies to you.

U.S. Sales Tax

U.S. customers may be subject to state and local sales taxes. Your company address determines whether your subscription is subject to tax and the applicable state and local tax rates. Sales tax charges appear as a line item on your invoice.
